The Board of Directors of DNV has appointed Remi Eriksen as the new CEO of Stiftelsen Det Norske Veritas (DNV). He is succeeding Henrik O. Madsen, who is retiring on 1 August 2015. This also includes the position as President and CEO of the DNV GL group.

Det Norske Veritas donates rescue vessel to Redningsselskapet (In Norwegian).

To mark the 150th anniversary of Stiftelsen Det Norske Veritas and the one year anniversary of the merger between DNV and Germanischer Lloyd (GL), DNV GL is hosting a prestigious event in Oslo today. Over 1000 guests, made up of dignitaries, government officials and top industry figures and customers, will be present, including the Prime Minister of Norway, Ms. Erna Solberg.
